Angle adjustment and fence length compensation:
No reading errors due to scales and vernier. No time-wasting with arduous approximations of angle values. The advantage of the Felder degree index is that the stop is set and fixed without losing time or making reading errors. Highly precise index positions allow for the accurate production of polygons, e.g. 5.625º (32 sided), 11.25º
(16 sided), 22.5º (8 sided). In addition, index positions at 15º, 20º, 25º, 30º, 35º, 40º and 45º can be used when working in slide to cut or push to cut mode. Every index position is equipped with a length compensator. The highly precise Felder degree index system is adjusted at the factory. Every index position also has individual fine adjustment. This cost effective index system integrates well into the machine design and will increase your productivity.

Precision mitre index system: exact angle precision
The “precision mitre index system” on the outrigger table of the professional model allows you to freely select preset positioning stops at increments of 5°, but also at 22.5°, by means of the index locating pin
from +45° to –45°.

The new FELDER 900 saw unit
The newly developed Felder unit made from cast iron offers smooth running performance, precision and efficiency:
- 104 mm cutting height with a 315 mm saw blade
- Electronic angle adjustment with digital LED display
- Zero point tilt
- Oversized saw arbor with double bearing trunnions – Maximum motor power transfer with the Poly-V belt. The electronically balanced saw arbor with dual bearing seat system is powered via a Poly-V belt. Combined this results in an almost 100% power transmission to the saw blade
- Maximum energy transfer from the large Poly-V belt bearing area
- Saw unit speed 4800 rpm
- Optimal extraction with a completely enclosed, below table extraction system
- Dovetail guidance system for height adjustment
- A highly robust synthetic material located in the guidance track of the tilting brackets, ensures they run smoothly and are maintenance free even under the most extreme conditions. The tilt guide segment runs without lubrication and is insensitive to dust.

To use a grooving cutter “Dado cutter”
It is also possible to use a grooving “Dado cutter” with your Felder K 900 sliding table saw. Especially developed by Felder, the cutter moves like a knife through butter. Massive in size and performance enabling cuts from 6.3– 19.5 mm.

Scoring unit
There are two versions available for the operation of the scoring unit: Classic or Automatic.
Classic: the height and lateral setting of the scoring blade is adjusted manually from the top of the saw unit table.
Automatic: electric scoring saw blade height adjustment is electrical, and the side adjustment is manual. When the scoring unit is switched on, the scoring blade rises to its pre-set position automatically. When the main blade is switched off, the scoring blade automatically sinks back under the table. This is first class comfort!

Circular saw shaft
The saw shaft is enclosed in a massive cast iron housing. With the double bearing mounts, vibration free results are guaranteed. Power transfer from motor to sawblade is optimised through the use of a Poly-V belt.
“Power-Drive” – electronic raise/lower and tilt of the blade
With the “Power-Drive” package you will be able to accurately set both the height and angle of the blade electronically with a turn of a control switch. The saw blade height and angle positions are clearly shown on the LED display screens. When the saw blade is tilted the blade height is automatically adjusted and the new height measurement is instantly updated.
“Digi-Drive” – accurate automatic positioning.
With the “Digi-Drive” package you simply type in the required sawblade height and
angle, press start and watch the sawblade adjust automatically. Settings can also be stored for future reference. When adjusting the tilt, the sawblade will remain at the
pre-set height (automatic height compensation).

A Masterpiece of Engineering
The ultimate in precision and guiding smoothness
This precision guiding system will accept maximum loads without compromising the smooth and accurate stroke of the sliding table. The X configuration of the roller bearings optimally distributes work-piece weight to all sides. With a roller bearing system the full width of the bearing is in contact with the guiding track. With no single point of contact between the bearing and the guiding track as found on conventional ball bearing systems, the roller bearing will never wear a groove into the guiding track.
Precision sliding table-guiding system “X-Roll”
“X-Roll”, making a difference:
- Extremely smooth and precise sliding action! With the roller-bearing system there is no single point of contact between bearings and guiding track, maximising precision over the lifetime of the machine. A 3 way dust protection system ensures clean, dust free guide rails. This is obtained through silicon wipers, brushes and concave tracks. Your X-Roll sliding table guidance system is backed by a 6 year factory guarantee.
- Clean, dust-free guide rails thanks to special silicon wipers.
- Hardened-steel tracks ensure accuracy and durability.
- 6 year guarantee.

main operating switches on sliding table
On request we can equip your “900 Series“ with start buttons located directly on the sliding table to turn on the main and scoring blades. How about that for convenience?
The outrigger table
The outrigger table with workpiece roller is of large dimensions. 8 guide rollers running on ball bearings within the outrigger arm ensure that the unit is incredibly quiet, even when supporting heavy loads.
The telescopic crosscut fence
The 2600 mm long telescopic crosscut fence can be effortlessly adjusted from 90° to 45°. A mitre scale on the outrigger table allows for accurate adjustments. On request, we will fit your outrigger table with the
precision mitre pin locating system. Locate your
mitre angles accurately time and again!
Precise mitre cuts
The crosscut fence 1100 mm for crosscuts between +45° and –45°. The fence can be attached to the sliding table without the use of tools. The end stop provides you with the exact 90° position.
crosscut fence stops
The large crosscut fence stops are constructed in such a way that a small tongue on the stop fits perfectly into a groove on the fence. This keeps the stop firmly in place for both straight and
mitered cuts.
Stop scale
The bevelled mitre scale with accurate readout is visible from the operating area and thus enables exact setting of the required crosscut value.
Rip fence of the highest quality
A rip capacity of 800 mm is standard with the option of upgrading to a rip capacity 1250 mm. The rip scale is easy to read and perfectly integrated into the machine body.
The rip fence is easily and smoothly adjustable, with a clamping mechanism which can be engaged with one hand.
The fine adjustment mechanism allows for precise measurements.
The aluminium rip fence can be adjusted along its axis to improve user comfort and safety when making repeated offcuts.
When working with narrow and thin cuts of wood with the saw blade tilted, the rip fence can be placed face down to improve operator comfort and avoid collission with the saw blade. The rip fence can also be tilted underneath the table.
Your choice: rip fence with electronic
digital display
The integration of the electronic digital display on the rip fence allows for the reading of the cutting width to one tenth of a millimetre. The display may be rotated up to 90° to suit the working position. Additional features, such as fine progressive adjustments in increments of .1mm make precision cutting possible.
