Precision sliding table-guiding system “X-Roll”
“X-Roll”, making a difference:

With the roller-bearing system there is no single point of contact between bearings and guiding track, maximising precision over the lifetime of the machine. A 3 way dust protection system ensures clean, dust free guide rails. This is obtained through silicon wipers, brushes and concave tracks. Crosscut fence
The crosscut fence 1300 mm for crosscuts between +45° and –45° with 90° positive stop. The fence is quickly mounted onto the “X-Roll“ sliding table without the use of tools. The large crosscut stop provides an exact 90° position.

Stop scale
The bevelled mitre scale with accurate readout is visible from the operating area and thus enables exact setting of the required crosscut value.

Precision mitre index system: exact angle precision
The double mitre system on the outrigger table with telescopic stop 2600 mm is standard for professional type machines.
It’s exactly the accessory that allows you to execute very accurate mitre cuts from +45° to –45° in a quick and easy way.
For those who want even more accurate settings we equip the outrigger table with the ”precision mitre index system“. With this you can select predrilled positioning stops in steps of 5°, but also at 22.5°, by means of the index locating pin from +45° to –45°.

The rip fence
The single handed adjustment system ensures quick and accurate setting of the rip fence. A fine adjustment facility is included (optional).
The rip capacity amounts to 800 mm or optionally
1250 mm. The easy to read rip scale is perfectly integrated into the saw table. The aluminium rip fence plate can be moved backwards to optimise the feed of workpieces.

Scoring unit
The "free from play" height and side adjusting scoring unit delivers a professional machining of laminated materials.

to use a grooving cutter “Dado cutter”
The Felder 500 Series saw unit is fully compatible with Dado tooling. Thanks to a removable table insert and flanges, specialised Felder dado tooling can be used.
